Core duties will include:
- Completing Corporate and company secretarial matters
- Creation and maintenance of company statutory books and records
- Managing company secretarial database
- Companies House filings
- Processing company incorporations
- Preparing Companies House forms and routine company secretarial documents
- Managing registered office post
- Administering company secretarial client matters
- Undertaking post completion work on corporate matters including preparing bibles of documents and stamp duty applications
- Generating potential new work and assisting others in so doing
- Attend professional networking functions, business clubs, and client events, corporate hospitality, etc
- To assist with departmental administration
- To assist with other general administrative duties as required
- Draft legal documents from instructions taken by qualified team members
- To maintain databases as required
- To review and note interim quarterly reports
- Responds promptly to clients (as required) and colleagues
- Ensures a speedy turnaround of work
- Contributes pro-actively to departmental matters
- Other general Corporate work
Ideal Candidates must have the following:
- Up to date legal knowledge
- Previous Corporate or company secretarial experience (desirable)
- Awareness of the entire range of services that the firm can offer
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Ability to effectively deal with clients and provide a high level of service
- Ability and willingness to assist with networking and marketing
- Enthusiastic team player
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
