Top ten Accountancy firm seek a Early Careers Lead . You will be responsible for delivering and coordinating assessment centres for national service lines, and for managing a team of co-ordinators. Working closely with the National Early Careers Manager, Early Careers attraction Coordinators, and the Service Line representatives, You will help deliver the Talent strategy in line with our ‘grow your own’ strategy and our diversity agenda.
Core Duties will include:

  • Manage day to day performance of team, whilst ensuring Coordinators are equipped with the information, they need to deliver against our forecasted hiring volumes
  • Engage proactively and ensure a positive experience for Students/candidates, suggesting and implementing process improvements as necessary
  • Work in conjunction with the TA operations Lead to review and make recommendations for process improvements
  • Ensure delivery against D&I targets and support initiatives to attract a diverse talent pool
  • Ensure the right selection and assessment tools are managed and utilised, providing robust reporting on success measures
  • Use the Recruitment technology and ensure full compliance of use by team
  • Ensuring the recruitment process is followed and reinforcing best practice as well as overseeing the entire recruitment process from application to decision, to ensure a smooth process
  • Key interface with internal stakeholders to upskill capability for managing robust selection criteria and ensure fair selection throughout
  • Act as the champion for trainee experience, ensuring the firm delivers an exceptional experience
  • Build strong connections with the HRBP community to identify opportunities to improve service by gaining a deep understanding of the business lines and future growth plans
  • Be a brand ambassador, building a robust outreach strategy to connect and engage the talent, through schools/ universities etc. To book, coordinate, deliver and attend attraction events with the area of responsibility, work closely with the wider national early career’s attraction strategy
  • Responsible for the student recruitment advertising budget and ensuring ROI
  • Liaising with third party advertising companies for campaigns
  • Dealing with escalated issues from candidates/system/regions
  • Main point of contact for social media content for students
  • Providing robust management information to the business/early careers team
  • Managing a team of coordinators
  • Ad-hoc projects as required
